Visitors to Nozawa Onsen are truly spoiled in the choice of their Nozawa Onsen accommodation options. Pension Schnee is a non-smoking establishment just 150 metres from the Hikage ski lifts (see map) with ski-to-door access. The pension has many facilities including ski and luggage storage, common TV room with DVD and free Wi-Fi. The rooms at the Schnee Pension have hardwood floors, air-conditioning/ heating facilities and some come with private bathroom and toilet. The shared bath and showers are open 24 hours. Kawaichiya Ryokan is a Japanese style inn (ryokan) located right in the centre of Nozawa Onsen and prides itself on its fine service and hospitality. It is ideally situated for sightseeing and skiing being only about two minutes walk from the Nozawa Onsen Centre bus stop and close to the Nozawa Onsen main street. The inn has two different kinds of hot springs with the sources originating from the famous Ogama and Shinyu hot springs in Nozawa Onsen.

Lodge Denbee (aka Lodge Denbei) enjoys an excellent location - right in front of Nozawa Onsen ski lifts (see map). It has an outdoor hot spring, a Western/Japanese restaurant serving both western and Japanese dishes plus an in-house ski rental shop. The heated Japanese-style rooms have tatami (woven-straw) flooring, traditional futon bedding and an LCD TV with satellite TV channels. There are no ensuites - bathrooms and toilets are shared facilities. Guests can enjoy a long refreshing soak in the onsen hot-spring baths after a hard day's skiing. The hotel offers ski storage, has a coin launderette on site and there is free Wi-Fi in the lobby. Hotel Haus St Anton is only a 10 minute walk from Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort and handy to most local amenities, including the travellator. Rooms are simple but homely with satellite TV.
