Weather; Sun creeping through the clouds
Conditions on the slopes yesterday were fairly good; the fog lifted early in the day and we got views of mountains and valleys all around, although the wind was quite strong. Today is looking like it’ll be somewhat foggier but with much milder winds. Some snow should start falling up the top this evening and will gradually get heavier throughout tomorrow as the storm progresses. It’ll be getting cold over the next three days, reaching -13 with a windchill of -25 on Sunday. The cold temperatures will keep the snow dry and fluffy meaning more powdery snow.
In the village we’re expecting a little more rain later today and tomorrow morning before the snow starts falling in the afternoon. From then on we’re hoping to open some more of the resort, so let’s keep our fingers crossed and just wait and see what the clouds bring.
