Nozawa Snow Report 5 February 2016
A beautiful day yesterday, and a powder day to come.
On piste conditions were fantastic in Nozawa yesterday. After a light covering of snow from Wednesday, the slopes were nothing but fast and smooth, and fairly empty too! The sun was out for the whole day, though temperatures were cold keeping the snowpack nice and fresh.

Nozawa Snow Report 5 February 2016: Overview
It’s currently snowing very lightly down in the village and we’re expecting a couple of centimetres up the top today. Enough to keep the underfoot conditions nice and to keep the trees looking pretty. Winds will be mild today and tomorrow, increasing on Saturday night/Sunday morning.
We’re excited to see that our forecast for the weekend has been upgraded, and hopefully it stays that way. At this stage, we’re looking at 30+ cm to fall on Saturday, becoming heaviest on Saturday night. Sunday should be an awesome powder day! Snow should continue to fall throughout the weekend before the system clears on Monday and brings us back the sun.
