Our Nozawa Snow Reports run from the start of the Japan ski season in mid-December usually until sometime in March or even April (depending on snow conditions). Generally January and February are the best months for skiing in Nozawa Onsen although it’s not unusual to have awesome powder conditions in December or March, or even April! Happy New Year We had a beautiful end to 2017 with an amazing clear sunny day on the slopes. Much fun was had with night skiing, and the fireworks were incredible.
