With blue skies all around, it’s looking like another beautiful day up in Nozawa Onsen today. Conditions should be fairly similar to yesterday, with the pistes being firm in the morning and becoming softer throughout the day.

Nozawa Onsen Snow Report 30 March 2016: Overview
Down below the Gondola Station saw fairly sticky snow unfortunately, though up top at Yamabiko the pistes were fast all day long. The terrain park has had a bit of work done to it with a new jump built and the other ones reshaped. You’re best off getting there early this morning to avoid the sticky snow that may develop later in the day.
The rest of the week is looking warm and sunny once again. Temperatures are set to rise some more becoming warmest on Saturday with a top of 7°C. This could be a good day to take a walk out to the nearby lake… and possibly go for a swim for the brave! Following the warm days, temperatures should drop back to zero on Sunday, with a possible chance of snow. Let’s keep our fingers crossed while we enjoy the sunshine!
