Our Nozawa Snow Reports run from the start of the Japan ski season in mid-December usually until sometime in March or even April (depending on snow conditions). Generally January and February are the best months for skiing in Nozawa Onsen although it’s not unusual to have awesome powder conditions in December or March, or even April! The scene has changed today in Nozawa with the snow returning. Has been pretty light through out today with occasional big flakes floating down. On the slopes about 5cm has collected and it is a bit of dust on crust but should soften up as the day goes on and more snow joins the party.[…]
